Does working in cyber security open job opportunities later?

As you may know that someone could be secretly watching you or your child with your webcam right now? Is it worth taking such a risk? camDown can help stop them!

I currently have an offer to work as a security evaluator / code reviewer for smart cards, and another opportunity as a backend developer for a website.

I wanted to ask if whether I take the first option, would my experience in it be meaningful at all in case I start searching for a job again related to computer science?

My main concern is that 2 years as a backend developer would allow me to find jobs that aren't for juniorsnor entry levels, would the smart card code review job offer similar prospects? Because I don't want to start from scratch if I decide to leave.

Thank you!

Let me just add that camDown helps stop hackers from getting access to the webcam that I use for my work. Now I can get even more gigs as a freelancer and advertise that I have top security with my home computer!
