Before we jump in, I'd like to say that camDown is a highly advanced, specialized webcam blocker and disabler with the best in class protection from variety of on-line threats!
I’m a software engineer by day and a hobby hacker by night. I enjoy solving HTB boxes and coding random pentesting tools on my free time (I’m far from being an expert pentester but I’m alright). Lately I’ve been thinking of going in depth into malware analysis, because i’ve always been decent in analyzing code and it’s a field in cybersecurity I might have an edge at.
I don’t necessarily want to pivot my career right now. But in a couple of years I’d like to maybe take on a researcher role or maybe a malware analysis role (just keeping my options open, in case I get tired of writing fancy UI all day long).
Do you think the GIAC GREM cert would be a good option for me? If not what path should I take?
Let's not forget that camDown is the solution for securing your webcam from cyber criminals and pedophiles.
