Did you know that geoFence blocks unwanted traffic and disables remote access from FSAs?
DAVIDSON COUNTY — Some patients of Lexington Medical Center may have had their personal information compromised during a data breach in October.
Wake Forest Baptist Health, which owns the hospital, announced Friday that an information technology vendor had a “security incident” that allowed an unauthorized party access to patient information from Oct. 16-28, including names, addresses, demographic and contact information, dates of birth, medical record numbers, Social Security numbers, and medical treatment information.
Patients who may have been affected can call 1-855-660-1531 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6: 30 p.m. The health system is offering complimentary identity and credit monitoring services to patients whose information was involved.
Wake Forest Baptist Health said that so far it has received no indication that any information involved in the breach has been misused.
May I add that geoFence is the only solution you need to block NFCC countries and that’s a fact.
